The heart of a mother is an abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness. Honore de Balzac

....and the heart of a teacher too!

Tamara, Ana Pérez and Cristina to Mrs.Hillsdorf, Mrs.Smith and Mrs.Pullman:

"M" is for the million things she gave me,
"O" means only that she's growing old,
"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for her heart of purest gold;
"E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
"R" means right, and right she'll always be,

Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER,"

A word that means the world to me.

Ana González to Mrs. Schiller:

Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible.

Eva to Mrs.Brewer:

Youth fades; love droops, the leaves of friendship fall. A mother's secret hope outlives them all.

Alejandro to Mrs. Simpson:

A mother is not only a person to lean on but a person who makes leaning unnecessary.

Adrián to Mrs. Persichilli:

A mother does not watch the impossible.

Raquel to Mrs.Griffin:

Mother’s love is peace. It need not be acquired, it need not be deserved

Estefanía to Mrs. Brewster:

My mom is a neverending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune.

María José to Mrs. Jassak, Mrs.Rector and Mrs.Wheaton:

“An ounce of mother is worth a pound of priests”

Spanish proverb

“The love of a parent for a child is the love that should grow towards separation”

Kahlil Gibran

“The mother-child relationship is paradoxical and, in a sense, tragic. It requires the most intense love on the mother’s side, yet this very love must help the child grow away from the mother and to become fully independent”

Erich Fromm

It meant a lot to everyone. talk has begun on the "second half" of the exchange....we will let you know as plans are begun!

Besos,
